Welcome to Your City @ Home!

Join South Holland Public Library, and libraries from all over Illinois, as we discover what out beloved city of Chicago has to offer. You can tune in, via Zoom, every Saturday for the months of April and May, for a virtual tour of some of Chicago's famous museums.
This week's featured museum is The Elmhurst History Museum.

Just before the first man landed on the moon, Charlie Brown and Snoopy soared through space with NASA’s Apollo 10 mission in May 1969. The exhibition To the Moon: Snoopy Soars with NASA examines the history of Apollo 10 and the Peanuts characters’ role in that flight and in the NASA Manned Flight Awareness safety program. This travelling exhibit is organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, California.

Attendees will also get an exclusive tour of By All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst which examines how the city has changed and grown over the past 165+ years.
