Study Rooms

We offer four private study rooms in the Reference Area. Two rooms can accommodate up to 2 people, while the other two can fit up to 4 people. You can reserve a room at the desk or by phone, either on the day you need it or the business day before.

Collaboration Space

The Collaboration Space is an open area located on the north side of the main floor, where groups can work together. It also hosts a variety of programs, mainly focused on crafting and computing activities.

Reading Space

This area is located on the south side of the main floor, just past the patron computer stations. It features small tables equipped with charging ports, comfortable chairs designed for quiet individual reading and working, and additional seating along the windows.

On the east wall, between Study Rooms A & B, we have a display of resources for the seniors in our community.  Here you will find information on transportation, healthcare, meals, and other services.

Mobile document scanner features fast speed scanning of color and black and white documents. Power the scanner from a PC and easily scan directly to a PC or laptop with the included USB cable.

Portable movie projector can be connected using Wifi or Bluetooth. Android and iOS compatible. 1080P resolution for bright and clear images. Projector has built-in speakers or connect to your own speakers.

South Holland residents with valid library cards may use their library card to log into our public computers.
Non-residents may ask for a guest pass to log in.

Computer sessions are 1 hour, with a maximum time of 5 hours per day.

Xerox printer/copier with pay station.

Printing and Copying is available in all computer areas.

The cost to print or copy is 25¢ per page (per side) for Black & White and 25¢ per page (per side) for Color.
2 Copy/Print machines are available in Adult Services on the main level, and 1 Printer is available in Youth Services on the lower level.

Credit cards are accepted for printing - please note there will be a $20.00 pre-authorization.

Touchscreen faxing station with flatbed scanner and feeder scanner.

Fax service is available for $1.00 per page. Credit cards are accepted (no pre-authorization). Faxes are limited to 20 pages at a time.
