Getting started with Libby
You will need:
- Your SHPL library card and pin.
- Download the app for your smartphone or tablet.
- You may need an Amazon account for Kindle or an Adobe Digital Editions account, depending on the device or app.

Checkout Periods and Limits
Items are checked out for 7, 14, or 21 days, depending on your personal settings. After the selected time period, the book license expires, and the book is returned automatically. There is never an overdue book.
Up to 20 items can be checked out at a time and 20 items can be placed on hold.
